Yep! He is wearing ice skates!
The weekend after Thanksgiving we sat down as a family to decide some of the fun, holiday activities we wanted to do together. Aileena instantly, without any hesitation, suggested ice skating! Peaks Arena used to allow you to take a stroller on the ice, but we found out, much to our dismay, that that is no longer their "policy". Oh POOP! However, they did so generously offer skates that would fit a 2 year old. Yes, a 2 year old! As you can see, my little climber isn't so hot at the ice skating stuff. Who knew??? Yeah right!!! The sad part about this fun little excursion is that he actually really wanted to go out on the ice. He walked really good in the skates, but there's was something about the slippery ice that somehow made the floor move right out from beneath him. He really couldn't figure it out. But it wasn't anything a little rubber ball from the vending machine couldn't fix.
Aileena and Daddy skated while Mommy and Jens chased the ball.
